Imitating God: Walking in Love

Whether you like it or not, you're going to imitate somebody this week. So who will it be? In Ephesians 5, Paul calls believers to do more than follow Jesus. He calls us to imitate God the way a child clomps around in his daddy's shoes and jacket, and the first step is to walk in love. It's the agape kind, a self-sacrificing love that reaches people who don't deserve it, the way Christ loved us while we were still sinners. But there are people we'd hesitate to love, and Justin admits it plainly. So how do sinners love like that? Not by trying harder, but by being filled with the Spirit. "How's your love?"
